New Year’s Eve at Tomkat, without the pricey set menu

On the last night of the year, we’re open for dinner with our regular menu: no set menu and no New Year’s Eve price tag, just good food, Champagne, and great wines. Reservations from 6 to 7:45 pm, closing at 10:30 pm: in time to ring in the New Year wherever you like.

New Year’s Eve without the New Year’s Eve price tag

New Year’s Eve usually means a set menu. We do the opposite: we open with our everyday menu, at our everyday prices. Order whatever you like, from the Pantry to the Kitchen, or go for our shared Tasting Menu, and pick the right bottle to close out the year: Champagne, Burgundy, or a great Italian red.

Dinner is early and relaxed, and at 10:30 pm you’re free for midnight in the piazza, at home, or at a party. Take a look at the menu and the wine list.

Is there a special New Year’s Eve menu?

No: on December 31, we serve our regular menu at our regular prices. If you like, you can order the shared Tasting Menu.

What time is dinner?

Reservations run from 6 to 7:45 pm. We close at 10:30 pm.

Do I need to pay in advance?

No. You book on OpenTable just like any other night, and your card is only held as a guarantee. If you can’t make it, please let us know: no-shows and late cancellations incur a charge, as stated in your reservation.

Can we stay and toast at midnight?

No, we close at 10:30 pm: here, the toast comes earlier, at a relaxed pace, and you can celebrate midnight wherever you like.

Do you welcome children and dogs?

Yes. Children are welcome: just mention it in your reservation. Dogs too, as long as they’re small, calm, and well behaved.

Do you have vegetarian dishes? What about allergies?

We always have a few vegetarian options. Please tell us about any allergies or intolerances when you write to us: we accommodate them as far as our kitchen allows, although we can’t completely rule out cross-contamination.

Do you serve cocktails, Prosecco, or beer?

No: at Tomkat, it’s wine only. For toasting, there’s Champagne, plus a list of nearly 200 labels from Italy and France.
