Tomkat is a wine bar with a kitchen at Via Calderia 12, just steps from Piazza San Michele: a wine bar in Lucca’s historic center whose wine list features nearly 200 labels from Italy and France — Champagne, Burgundy, outstanding Tuscan and Piedmontese reds, and old Bordeaux vintages — accompanied by simple, authentic cuisine.

Every evening we offer carefully selected wines by the glass, and for those who want to delve deeper, we organize guided tastings in Italian and English, without needing to leave the city walls. Recognized by Star Wine List and Wine Spectator in 2026. Open Monday to Saturday, from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.: book a table or drop by.
